AMD Opteron Quad Core VM linux "cat /proc/cpuinfo" only one processor? or 4 processors should be shown?

I have 5 virtual server that my area of administration created, has two

virtual processors, AMD Opteron, my question is that if the kernel

should recognize 8 cores or only 2, when i press the command 'cat /proc/cpuinfo' returns only 2
